# Settings, plans and data

*Find any setting, understand the Free and Pro plans and your license key, and move your data in and out.*

These guides cover the controls and the account side of PromptMason: the Settings screen, the two plans, your license key, and getting your work out of the app and back in.

The ideas to know first:

- **Settings:** every option in the app, in panes, with a search box to find a setting by name. Open it from the sidebar.
- **Free and Pro:** both include every feature. The only difference is how many blocks and prompts you can keep: Free has up to 25 blocks and 15 prompts. Prices are on the [Pricing](https://promptmason.ai/pricing) page.
- **License key:** every download starts with 14 days of Pro, with no key. If you buy Pro, you paste the key into **Settings** under **Plan**. If you go over the Free limits, your library is paused until you're back within them or on Pro.
- **Export and import:** save your personal library to one file and add a file's contents to a library. An exported file isn't encrypted, so keep it somewhere only you can open. [Privacy in PromptMason](https://promptmason.ai/docs/privacy-overview) explains where PromptMason's protection ends.
